Forty Farms
Forty Farms in the culmination of two years of work and it’s a really exciting project for me. The idea was devised by publisher and Lake District enthusiast, Dave Felton of Inspired by Lakeland. He approached me about creating the book together. The concept of Forty Farms seemed a great way to combine my own farming background with my photography and to work with Dave to create something a bit special.
Forty Farms has developed a life of its own as an exhibition in the Gallery at Rheged opened in September 2022 and received over 60,000 visitors, a full-colour book published by David and much more. The exhibition moved to the Windermere Jetty and is currently being curated for the Food Museum, Stowmarket, East Anglia, to open in May 2024 until feb 2025.
I am delighted to have gone into partnership with H&H group to develop the exhibition as an outdoor exhibition onto weatherproof panels and will be touring the country, starting at Low Sizergh Barn in November 2023.
You can find out more here and order the book here.
Hello, I’m Amy
I am a creative photographer who specialises in capturing people, places and artisan products on camera. I love what I do and have a reputation for fully immersing myself into every commission, ensuring that my clients – you – receive stunning high-quality imagery.
After winning several major photography competitions as an amateur, I had the courage to become a freelance photographer in 2019 and I am loving it. I specialise in the agricultural and commercial sector providing images for rural and manufacturing businesses of all sizes. If you like the style of my work and need photography to promote what you do, please get in touch.
And, as you can read here, I’ve been working on my own projects too.
